Kävinpä kääntymässä tänään. Sanoisin, että onnistunut tilaisuus - paikalla varmaan joku 60-70 hlö ja hyvä esitys Mickey:ltä.

Illan sample oli 2002 tislattu ja 1st fill bourbon kypsytetty singe cask (56.8%). Oli minun makuuni illan voittaja eli pehmoinen, mehevä vanhojen aikojen Ardbeg, jossa mitään ei viety äärimmäisyyksiin. Palautti uskoni siihen, että Ardbeg kykenee vielä huipputuotoksiin.

Takahuoneesta löytyi toinenkin sample, 6 vuotta vanha 1st fill Oloroso kypsytetty Ardbeg (59.2%). Oli hyvää kuin karamelli eli vahvanmakuinen ja herkullinen, mutta ei kovinkaan syvällinen kokemus.

Galileo ei edelleenkään vakuuttanut -- makea marsala ja savu ei vain ole minun makuuni.

Joka tapauksessa hieno tislaamo ja hieno setti. Saisivat laittaa noita 1st fill bourboneita enemmänkin jakeluun (10yo on 1st + 2nd vatting). Mickey kertoi, että villejä kokeiluja on jatkossakin tulossa, mutta ei voinut paljastaa, mitä..
